Loch Roag Guest House, Breasclete, Isle of
Lewis HS2 9EF, Outer
Hebrides (close to Callanish Stones)
In
a wonderful position overlooking tidal Loch Roag, and Callanish (about
a
couple of miles away), the guest house is alongside a quiet road, well
away from the main thoroughfare.
The
en-suite guest
bedrooms in this spacious house are well equipped, stylish and
comfortable. Breakfast and optional evening dinner are taken in a
bright, modern dining room, built to take advantage of the sweeping
views. There's also a cosy lounge for guests to enjoy a
little
relaxation.
In the
spirit of friendly Hebridean hospitality, the owners of Loch
Roag Guest House are entirely committed to providing you
with high
standards of service and facilities, to ensure a pleasant stay.
There are a
few small,
local shops, but Stornoway is only around 20 minutes drive and
offers more extensive shopping. The guest house is very convenient for
touring, being situated close to an interesting circular route, as well
as the road to the amazing beaches of Uig.
Take
a walk, or drive, along the quiet road at the rear of the property for
about three quarters of a mile, then clamber up the moorland slope
above Loch na Beinne Bige to admire the views. It's a gentle slope with
a reasonable surface and you're sure to enjoy the peaceful situation.
