Accessibility
Statement
Wherever practical or possible,
Hebridean Hopscotch is
committed to making all facilities available to all people, regardless
of permanent or temporary impairment or disability, both for the
convenience of our guests and for compliance with current
legislation.
Because of the diversity of peoples'
needs, it is
difficult to always be aware of all practicalities in respect of equal
access. We welcome feedback from our guests and will be very
happy to receive constructive suggestions about areas in which we can
improve.
If you have access requirements that
may not have been
considered here, please feel welcome to contact us, as we will try to
help whenever possible.
Accessibility
to the properties and transport
The
accommodation offered by Hebridean
Hopscotch is the property of individual owners and ranges from
intenational standard hotels to private homes offering bed and
breakfast. Some are quite new, or have been updated and
present
little difficulty for visitors with special requirements. Others are
older and may not be suitable for wheelchair users or guests with other
access needs. Please ask our advisors for more information.
Dogs
Guide dogs and hearing dogs are
welcome in their owners'
accommodation and all public areas.
Website
Accessibility
We are commited to giving people with
impairments or
disabilities equal access to websites and online content. This site has
been designed with accessiblity in mind and we believe it will comply
with equal access requirements. For example, all text may be
adjusted in size, all relevant images and links are provided with
alternative descriptions and the coding has been checked for
conformance to appropriate standards.
As the BBC have done such an excellent
job of providing
guidance for users who wish to adjust the way a site is displayed to
them, probably much better than we could do, this link which will
open their
accessibility guide (into a new window) is provided to assist
you.
