Price groups are not
intended to indicate the level of facilities - they're jsut a
convenient way to group properties of similar price together. The
Visit Scotland star rating, which you'll find on the detail pages of
all those who are in the Visit Scotland system.
We've
created our own Google map so that you can
see the location of all our accommodation, some of the food shops where
you can stock up for a picnic, fuel filling stations and ferries.
Little by little, we'll add other helpful information to the
map.
Additionally,
each accommodation has its own set of Google maps, to make it easy to
find.
Our Gold, Silver and
Bronze awards are decided on the basis of guest feedback during 2009 -
in the Visit Scotland categories 'Bed and Breakfast', 'Guest House',
'Small Hotel or Inn' and 'Full Size Hotel'.
