Enjoy the speed, comfort and convenience of your Flybe* flight, direct from Glasgow, Edinburgh or Inverness airports to collect a hire car at our Stornoway office (transfer included).   Alternatively, fly from Glasgow to Barra, with car hire from Barra airport to our Stornoway office (with free trasfer to your airport departure).

* Flybe flights to the Outer Hebrides and other Scottish internal flights are  operated by  - Loganair - established as Scotland's Airline for over 40 years.

Optional connecting flights from several other UK airports are by Flybe.

Compared to a road and ferry journey, you’ll save time getting here and you’ll be ready to start exploring, as soon as you arrive. 

Flybe/Loganair flights from Glasgow to Barra (and onward to Benbecula) - are a great experience for aviation lovers, landing or taking off from the world’s only airport operating scheduled flights on beach runways.

For 2011, our ‘Island Hopper’ car hire fleet is mainly made up of Ford Focus family hatchbacks, supplemented from time to time by Renault Scenics or similar size vehicles from local rental fleets. The Hopper holiday is available for start dates from 1st April to 16th Septemtober. 

A picnic hamper (with cutlery, crockery, linen and a flask) is provided in your hire car so you’ll have all the equipment you need for en route snacks while touring the islands.  We’ve even remembered to include a rug to sit on, binoculars and a large umbrella (which we hope you won’t need).

Our ‘Weekender’ air holidays normally include an economical car hire from a reputable local car rental fleet, though you can upgrade for a modest charge.  In fact, because all our holidays are ‘made-to-measure’ we can offer any combination of air travel, accommodation and car hire, from a single centre holiday to a full island hopping experience - just ask our advisor for your choice of options.

Throughout your stay, our locally resident team is just a phone call away, ready to offer any advice or assistance you may want. Often, we’ll even be at the airport at the end of your holiday, to complete your car rental and see you safely homeward bound.
