to show you the filming locations, perhaps take you on some of the same
walks and even introduce you to other people who appear in the series.

your arrival to check your particular interests and organise a suitable
itinerary. It's worth allowing an extra night in North Uist

"In Monty
Halls' Footsteps"
A fully
guided, 6 night holidays, for
guests who can either make up a group of eight people or who are
willing to join
with others to make up a group of eight.
Enjoy a
complete journey
of discovery through the Outer Hebrides, with James Macletchie guiding
you and other guests throughout your holiday. Limited to a
total
of eight guests, travelling from Barra to Lewis independently but
meeting together with James at each location. By sharing
James'
costs between a group in this way, you can benefit from his knowledge
and experience for your entire stay, but at a lower cost than exclusive
guiding. You're free to take time out and explore on your own
during the holiday, should you wish to do so. During this
holiday
you'll experience more of the activities and locations featured in
"Monty Halls' Great Hebridean Escape" and have the opportunity to
take optional excursions, such as boat trips, fishing or off road trips
at extra cost, should you wish to.
If you wish to take part in this holiday, it's necessary to provide us
with a list of convenient start dates so that we can combine parties to
make a total of 8 guests.
Included in the price, which is based on two guests sharing one car and
twin or double bedrooms throughout the holiday:
a. Tickets for all ferry sailings from the mainland to the Outer
Hebrides, between the islands and for your return to the mainland.
b. Room and breakfast terms at the accommodation shown on the sample
itineraries. If any accommodation is unavailable, we will
endeavour to offer an equivalent alternative.
c. All guiding by James MacLetchie throughout the journey, but
excluding costs of any additional excursions taken, such as boat trips,
fishing rod hire, entrance fees, etc.
