The prices and schedules below are shown as a guide. Your holiday price may vary, depending on your chosen departure airport the accommodation you choose, the number of guests in your party and other factors.

You can use the internet to obtain the best value prices when purchasing regional connections by Flybe from Birmingham, Exeter, Manchester and Southampton airports.  

Please do not book connecting flights until we have confirmed vehicle availability and your flights betweeen Glasgow and the Outer Hebrides.

For other regional connections to Glasgow International airport, we suggest you visit Easyjet, British Airways or BMI Baby.  Flights to Prestwick airport, 30 miles from Glasgow, are generally not recommended, due to the extended transfer time involved between the two airports. Regional connections to Inverness are also available by Ryanair and Eastern Airways.

Your holiday starts on a Thursday with a Flybe* direct flight to the Isle of Lewis or Barra. You can use the internet to purchase connecting flights from a wide range of UK regional and international airports, which will be quicker than driving north.

This holiday is for a minimum of 5 nights and a maximum of 7 nights.

Your Flydrive car (usually a Ford Focus or similar size car, under 12 months old) will be waiting for you at your arrival airport. Your route follows the Island Experience itinerary, shown above.

These Scottish island holidays are limited by the number of Flydrive vehicles available, and their location, so it’s essential to book early, if you want to secure a particular date.

Our current vehicle availability schedule is for holiday start dates from  mid April 2012 (from Stornoway) to early October 2012 (from Barra).  Start dates in October are charged as the Spring low season price.  Some flexibility on start day may be possible for late September and October bookings.

We recommend that you check the internet prices to make an online ticket purchase for your connecting flights to Glasgow International (not Prestwick, which is not convenient) when travelling from regional airports for your Scottish island holiday.
