Your wedding in the Hebrides
You
may prefer an indoor or outdoor ceremony at the Cabarfeidh Hotel, on a
fabulous
shell-sand beach or uninhabited island, at the Callanish Stones or
another venue, followed by a Cabarfeidh Hotel reception.
A choice of
elegant venues for your reception, to suit wedding
parties from 2 to 200. Enjoy a touch of elegance and class,
but
without stuffy formality.
This is a day
you want to remember
for the pleasures of the company of family and friends - if your guests
want to roam around the room, visit the gardens or let their children
play, they’re welcome.
Scottish Law
allows for a
ceremony conducted by a Minister of Religion, or a civil ceremony by
the Registrar, to be held at any location, indoors or out.
For a
Registrar’s ceremony application for a temporary license is
made
at least three months prior to the wedding date and, provided the
location is deemed suitable and safe, the license can be issued.
We have
already researched
some of the many alternatives available and our Wedding Planner can
offer a list of locations known or expected to be suitable (subject to
license and land-owner’s approval) and will be happy to
discuss
the costs and procedures, then help you with the arrangements.
Although we
can be generally optimistic about outdoor events in
summer, in case of bad weather, a wedding ceremony arranged for an
outdoor location can be relocated to the hotel.
We work very
closely with
local suppliers and can arrange cars, photographer, flowers,
gentlemen's Highland dress, hairdressing, make-up,
entertainment plus any other items.
We suggest
that you
telephone Hebridean Hopscotch for an initial discussion, without
obligation, and we can then assess the level of service you
would
require, before preparing a quotation.
