Dunarain – bed and breakfast on the Isle of Harris
Situated in Direcleit, just outside Tarbert on the Isle of Harris in the Outer Hebrides, this stunning luxury accommodation, providing bed and breakfast, is situated within a contemporary newly built home.
The world famous Luskentyre beach, often referred to as Britain’s best kept secret, is a short 10 minute drive, here you can enjoy the white, shell sand beach and crystal clear water, surrounded by stunning scenery. Spend a day climbing in the gigantic dunes and paddling in the crystal clear Hebridean waters. There are also a number of walking trails nearby so you can explore the surrounding natural beauty at your leisure. Travel further down the coast taking in Seilebost, Horgabost, Niseboist and Scarista, each with its own unique charm. Tarbert, the main town on the Isle of Harris, is a short drive and is where the majority of the island busineeses are based, such as the not to be missed Isle of Harris Distillery and the Harris Tweed store.
Accommodation
Consisting of 2 en-suite bedrooms (double and twin) the accommodation sleeps up to 4 guests. Both rooms have terraces, the double room boasting views out to sea and the twin room with loch views. In the evening, a shared lounge is available and is ideal for relaxing after a busy day soaking up all the Isle of Harris has to offer.
Food and Drink
A continental Bento-box breakfast is provided and includes only the best local produce with the accent on Scottish provenance. Hebridean cold smoked salmon features alongside homemade bread, Scottish cheeses, freshly prepared muesli, fresh fruit etc.

A great spot close to Luskentyre beach. The perfect location to explore the rugged coastline and endless beaches.
