A unique & traditional 18th Century Farmhouse on the west coast of Lewis with coastal views toward the Atlantic Ocean & the Butt of Lewis. The shore lies just a short walk through the croft and is ideal for fishing, birdwatching and beach combing, with views of the Butt of Lewis. The abundance of wildlife & birds is prevalent in this area. As in winter you can experience the Northern Lights & see the Milky Way in all its glory. There are coastal walks from the house & we are situated on the Hebridean Way. See many of the locations from the Peter May Trilogy in the Ness area from where he wrote the books. All food is traditionally cooked on an Aga cooker, Galson Farm Guesthouse can offer you a good, hearty breakfast to start your day and set menu 2 course meal. Dishes are prepared using fresh ingredients, as a licensed premises there is an extensive selection of quality wines, spirits and malts.
