The shore lies just a short walk through the croft, which is ideally located for fishing, birdwatching and beach combing. The abundance of wildlife is prevalent in this area and, in winter the Northern Lights may be experienced in all its glory. Coastal walks from the house are nearby, in addition to being well situated for those taking part in the Hebridean Way. Food and drink
Galson Farm Guesthouse offers a good, hearty breakfast, all cooked on a traditional Aga cooker. Dishes are prepared using the best fresh ingredients and, as a licensed premises there is an extensive selection of quality wines, spirits and malts. In addition, set menu 2 course evening meals are also available, this should be reserved in advance to avoid disappointment.
