Price Group 4

In a wonderful position overlooking tidal Loch Roag and Callanish (about a couple of miles away), the Loch Roag Guest House is alongside a quiet road, well away from the main thoroughfare.

Perfect for touring west Lewis.

In the spirit of friendly Hebridean hospitality, the owners of Loch Roag Guest House are entirely committed to providing you with high standards of accommodation, service and facilities, ensuring a pleasant stay.

There are a few small, local shops, but Stornoway is only around 20 minutes drive and offers more extensive shopping. The guest house is very convenient for touring, being situated close to an interesting circular route, as well as the road to the amazing beaches of Uig.

The road to the rear of the house leads onto rolling moorland countryside, that covers a large area between the settlements dotted along the main road that circles west Lewis.  If you’re interested in rough walking, there’s plenty of space and some interesting hills to climb and admire the view, while observing the wild life.

Accommodation at Loch Roag Guest House

The en-suite guest bedrooms in Loch Roag Guest House are well equipped, stylish and comfortable.  Some have views across the crofts to Loch Roag, a sea-loch connecting to the Atlantic.  There’s also a cosy lounge for guests to enjoy a little relaxation.

Food and drink

Breakfast and optional evening dinner are taken in a bright, modern dining room at Loch Roag Guest House, built to take advantage of the sweeping views.

Dinner should be booked with the owner in advance – either by a phone call to Donald, or pre-purchase when you book your holiday.
