Hebridean Hopscotch Holidays

The Inn @ Ardvaser

Price Group 5

The Inn is an ideal base to enjoy hill walking, sailing, fishing and spending time in this most special of Hebridean landscapes.

In the early 1800s, it is one of the oldest inns on Skye and enjoys stunning views over-looking the picturesque bay and the waters of the Sound of Sleat to the rugged hills of Morar beyond. The Inn is located in the small village of Ardvasar a short distance from Armadale where the Caledonian MacBrayne ferry from Mallaig brings you “Over the Sea to Skye”.

Recently refurbished, the Inn has a relaxed, friendly and comfortable atmosphere, and is the ideal place to enjoy exploring the Island. Open all year, The Inn @ Aird a’ Bhasair is the perfect place to experience Skye through the changing seasons. The Island can be particularly beautiful in the winter months, with snow on the hilltops and winter sunlight, giving plenty opportunity for memorable photographs.

“Stayed for only one night as part of a hiking trip to Skye. I would have happily stayed longer as the experience was wonderful. I had a beautiful, spacious room with a bed that was super comfortable. There was a large bathroom with a nice shower. The room was very clean and well appointed. The service overall was really super. From the greeting we received when we arrived, to the meal service in the evenings and morning, and the bar staff – they were all super! I would be happy to stay again and can’t wait to return.” –A TripAdvisor member.
